The creation of a state of the art design centre showcasing V4’s innovative range of flooring and wall products moves a step closer as we are pleased to announce planning permission has been secured on our new 6000 sq ft V4 World.
V4 World will be a unique, design-led space where visitors will be able to experience our contemporary floor and wall products like never before.
From design and build professionals to homeowners seeking out design inspiration, V4 World will bring to life the creative possibilities of our cutting-edge floor and wall solutions.
Situated adjacent to our Head Quarters in Woking, Surrey, the showroom will bring together a myriad of design-led experiences that will enable visitors to visualise and explore our full range of products and talk to our knowledgeable team about the best products for their individual project.
With room sets, virtual technology, large product displays and a café, the showroom will become a design destination for the discerning home and commercial designer.
For our V4 retailers located across the UK, it will also be an extended showroom for them, as they can send their key customers to the centre to see our products in large room-sets and on virtual displays before placing an order.
Visitors will be able to explore everything from our latest bespoke flooring collections that deliver the ultimate palette of wood floor finishes, colours and size options, alongside the established stocked V4 collections.
Also on display will be Panneau, our decorative wooden wall cladding solutions which are based on the concept of creating art with woods of various origins, and with the emerging trend in concrete surfaces in interior design, you will be able to discover our innovative Concreate floor and wall panels, which add instant urban style to any interior space.
Modern design surfaces will also meet art, as the space will provide a unique environment for selected local artists to exhibit original artwork, enlivening the room sets and displays.
More than just a showroom, V4 world will also provide training days for installers and educational events for schools to discuss how best to protect the environment and drive quality and sustainability in the flooring industry. And 15 start-up units will be built on the site to support new business, local investment and job creation.
Our vision for this innovative and exciting new development is now set to become a reality. Following planning permission, construction work is due to commence on the new centre this summer, led by main building contractor, Mark Wright and the architect on the project, Woking-based Ray Freeland of BFF Fielding, with the design centre expected to open in Spring 2018.
