A popular and valuable asset to the County, after a period of closure The Waring family took over its lease in early 2014 with a view to rejuvenating the well-loved venue into a contemporary and thriving attraction for locals and visitors to enjoy.
The family undertook a full interior renovation to modernise the space before its re-launch in November 2014, which included the installation of 500m2 of new wood flooring.
The choice of flooring was critical to this renovation as it would need to provide both a flexible platform that would work harmoniously with individual event themes and set-ups, but also be durable and long-lasting to withstand its’ busy footfall.

The E125 has a hardwood multi-ply base layer which makes it extremely stable, ideal for the large function rooms of the Left Bank. The chunky 5 mm rustic oak top layer is packed with natural character and finished with a tough aluminium oxide lacquer which is ideal for these high traffic areas where easy maintenance is required.
