“We had friends who had the EC103 wood floor installed and they raved about the quality of the floor and its ease of maintenance. We had looked at other products in DIY stores and flooring shops and had considered other products other than wood flooring. We liked the colour and appearance of the oiled floor but decided to go for the EC102 (unbrushed) once we were shown the samples as this we felt gave a smooth and natural appearance. The price was reasonable too.”
The warm tones of the rustic oak sealed with air cured natural hardware oil work perfectly with the sort colour pallet of the walls and furniture.

Nigel contacted Past & Present Wood Flooring who supplied and installed the EC102 Eiger Rustic Oiled floor. The 20 mm Engineered oak floor was installed as a floating system on a V4 underlay and V4 Wood Flooring’s matching solid profile bars were used to edge around the fire place.
With a young children the Beauchamps wanted a flooring solution character and a natural warm aesthetic, which would stand up to the rigours of family life and be simple to keep clean.
“We sweep or vacuum the floor most days, especially the dining room as we have young children. We had lived we a mix of old hard wood flooring, carpet, and laminate flooring with gaps around the edges. The clean lines and easy maintenance of our new floor is fantastic. The overall quality and look of the floor has drawn plenty of compliments.”
