More good news for our new engineered wood flooring collection, Landscapes as they have been shortlisted as a finalist for a 2019 Tomorrow’s Contract Flooring Award.
The Tomorrow’s Contract Floors Awards Guide will be published in November and a public poll will open in the first week of January and close 15th March. So we’ll keep you posted on when and how you can vote.
Created around a vision to bring nature inside on an impressive scale, Landscapes comprises beautiful extra wide boards produced with hand rendered European Oak.
Each of Landscapes four colour finishes are inspired by the natural tones embedded in our organic landscape. The collection features the light, sun kissed tones of Barley Field, the warm and earthy hues of Furrowed Hill, the soothing natural flow of Water Meadow and the impactful ever changing character of Moorland.
The surface of each board has been finished by skilled craftsmen using traditional hand tools to plane and scrape the oak, following the natural contours of the grain and adding extra character to the undulating surface.
They are then washed with a natural monochrome hard wax staining treatment to deliver the striking muted tones, with a top layer treatment of three coats of UV cured natural oil to provide a beautiful finish which is also durable and long lasting.
The finished boards measure an impressive 2200mm by 240mm, creating a natural feeling of space and flow to any room and can be used with under floor heating. You can truly bring nature inside with Landscapes wood floors.
