The extra thick European oak is first scorched with fire and then rolled with steel brushes removing the charred grain. The boards are then further brushed and sanded to create a uniquely tactile surface upon which complex layers of colour are added using various hand applied techniques. The result is a collection of oil finished oak floors rich in texture and natural colour and unlike any other natural surface.

Installation Basics

Aurora Flame planks can be installed as a floating floor or fully bonded to the subfloor with flooring adhesive. Ideal for use over underfloor heating. Herringbone and Chevron patterns must be fully bonded. Read more about Installation here.
