Having opened the doors on our new design centre V4 World in Woking, Surrey earlier this year it was time to make things official and celebrate the new 6000 sq ft design space with an official launch party.

Guests arriving at the party, which took place on Thursday 19th September, were treated to live music by ukulele band The Ukeaholics, a special guest DJ and plenty or food and refreshments which included The Gin Inn and Dough and Deer’s mobile Land Rover pizza van.
The celebration was also a chance to take a look around the expansive showroom and explore over 500 floor and wall surface solutions, all in the good company of renowned architect and TV personality George Clarke who was a special guest at the party.

He also took charge of award proceedings announcing the first, second and third placed winners in the first ever V4 Cube Awards.
Showcasing the best in home and surface design the Cube Awards celebrated some of the best real life home renovation stories featuring our contemporary flooring and wall collections which have featured on our website over the last year. Ten projects were shortlisted for the public to vote for their favourites over the summer.
With the votes counted it was over to George to announce our top three winners, who were presented with their V4 Cube Awards.
Huge congratulation to our winners who were;

Second Place – East Sussex home with Zigzag Frozen Umber

An absolutely stunning kitchen design by Laura Higham. Their family hub features a relaxed breakfast bar, cosy family dining space and a study area. A restored shaker style kitchen, natural woods and carefully selected paint colours all blend with the warm rustic oak tones of Zigzag Herringbone wood floors in Frozen Umber. Project installed by DM Flooring.
Third Place – Kent home with Zigzag Frozen Umber

The beautiful home renovation by Clemmie and Simon a.k.a @mother_of_daughters and @father_of_daughters on instagram. They chose Zigzag Frozen Umber herringbone floors when they completed a stunning transformation of their family living room and kitchen. They introduced a mix of classic designs which play to the Victorian features of the home, whilst adding contemporary elements which combine to create warm and inviting family spaces. The kitchen was carefully designed to work as a space for the whole family by Herringbone Kitchens. Project installed by Inspired Floors.
With the formalities over it was time for everyone to enjoy the celebrations as guests partied to music until late in the evening.

We’ve had a fantastic response to our new design centre. It’s a unique design destination for home and commercial designers to visit and explore and experience all of our contemporary surface solutions in one place. It was great to celebrate its official launch and we look forward to welcoming more people through our doors to find the perfect products for their project choosing from over 500 styles including plank, herringbone, chevron and reclaimed wood floors, wall cladding solutions and our Concreate concrete floor and wall panels.
